Hospital circus
The website was inundated with comment on the “‘Elephants in the room’ outed as general practice fees and ownership models”, nzdoctor.co.nz, 1 February, which covered an editorial suggesting new models are needed for general practice to ensure equity of access for all.
The authors say the paper does not set out to state a definitive view but to ask questions and promote discussion and debate which, judging by the feedback to our article, it has done.
