I’m currently a GP owner in a practice with four GPs and have been for many years. We practise under a cost-sharing structure where each owner has their own patient base and receives their capitation income together with patient fees. I’m the oldest in the group and thinking about retiring in the next five years. What do I need to consider and plan for, to help with a successful transition to retirement?
