Ongoing industrial action in hospitals may effect patient safety
The following letter was sent by Medical Council chair Andrew Connolly to the Resident Doctors’ Association and the chief executive officers and chief medical officers of all district health boards on 18 January. On 22 January, the RDA and DHBs announced they would be returning to mediation on 24 January ahead of a planned 48-hour strike on 29 and 30 January
