Submission by RACGP on administrative burden in general practice

The RACGP has provided a submission to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) on the future of government services.

This consultation is part of the Long-term Insights Briefings, a project run out of PM&C on behalf of the Australian Public Service as a whole, under the APS Reform agenda. The briefings are an opportunity for the government to work with Australians to shine a light on significant, complex and long-term issues that we may face as a country. The topic for the current briefing is ‘The future of government services’.

The RACGP’s response focuses on the impact of red tape/regulation and the administrative burden in general practice.
