Political party people with a ‘health-y’ twist, standing in 2023

Stephen Forbes took a look through the candidate lists for Labour, National, the Greens, ACT, Te Pāti Māori, New Zealand First and TOP, searching for familiar names and anyone connected to the health system standing for Parliament who is not a current or previous MP. It was a tricky job and some parties didn’t come to the party. But in the end he uncovered a small number of people with health sector connections taking a chance at the ballot box
