Australian health minister Greg Hunt has said the introduction of Medicare-funded telehealth was 10 years of health reform delivered in just 10 days. But the use of video consults remains relatively small-scale , despite the Australian Government saying it's the preferred option because of the greater "information transfer" . Is this the experience of GPs? Or is the technology failing to deliver on its clinical promise?
