DEAR AUNT MASIE
One of our employees has been on sick leave for several months. Unfortunately, there is no definitive prognosis, so we have no sense of when they might be able to return to work. While we have been happy to support them, at some point we will need to make a decision on their ongoing employment. What are our options?
