Jackie Clapperton is an intensive care paramedic for St John and a nurse practitioner for The Doctors Te Whare Hāpara, Turanga Health at Te Karaka Medical Centre and Hauora Tairāwhiti; Karen Hoare is a nurse practitioner in south Auckland, whose work has helped to improve newborn and infant enrolment with primary health providers as well as immunisation rates across all ethnic groups
