Are you passionate about student health and wellbeing? Join our team at Massey University’s Manawatū campus and provide patient-centred, culturally appropriate care to our diverse student population.

About the role:

  • Hours: 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week) – flexible to suit your needs
  • Environment: Supportive, rewarding role with adjusted hours and patient load
  • Support: Paid admin time and strong administrative assistance
  • Collaboration: Work alongside counsellors and wellbeing advisers to enhance student health literacy

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality primary care in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Offer clinical leadership and support to health providers
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
  • Contribute to service planning and continuous improvement

About you:

  • Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of NZ
  • Experience in General Practice
  • Strong clinical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Passion for student wellbeing, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork
