RNZCGP congratulates Felicity Goodyear-Smith on award win

The RNZCGP has congratulated Felicity Goodyear-Smith in a post on its LinkedIn page.
"Congratulations to Prof Felicity Goodyear-Smith who was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Research Mentor Award by the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) at their meeting in Quebec Canada," the post says.
"With an impressive career in primary care and family medicine, Felicity has been a driving force in research and mentoring. Her work with WONCA is also remarkable, from chairing the WONCA Working Party on Research to editing books in the WONCA series and contributing to the Global Core Values project.
"Felicity's selflessness, compassion and dedication make her not just a researcher but a truly exceptional mentor. As NAPCRG’s award citation says: “A remarkable research mentor is someone whose personal attributes mean that they are a mentor for researchers rather than a researcher that happens to mentor.”
"Felicity is also one of our hardworking editors of the Journal of Primary Health Care. Well done Felicity, from all of us here at the College!"
