The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is excited to announce that its 71st Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) will be held in Melbourne in September 2021.

The ASM was originally scheduled for October 2020, however, was postponed amid the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure a safe conference for participants and industry partners. The theme of the meeting remains ‘Elysium: Diagnostics and Therapeutics (now and the future) with AI.’

RANZCR2021 marks the first time the international conference will be supported by a Presenting Partner, Intelerad.

RANZCR President Dr Lance Lawler said, “RANZCR2021 will showcase emerging trends in radiology and radiation oncology AI software, hardware, regulatory, industry perspectives, impact on healthcare and patient outcomes.

“We are delighted to team up with Intelerad as Presenting Partner for RANZCR2021 and thank them for their support.”

Tina Blais from Presenting Partner, Intelerad, said, “RANZCR and Intelerad have a strong partnership that will emerge from the COVID-19 crisis stronger than ever. With the postponement of the Annual Scientific Meeting this year, Intelerad will proudly serve as a Presenting Partner of RANZCR2021.

Our roots run deep in Australia and New Zealand. We’re proud and excited to be partnering with RANZCR to present RANZCR 2021. Through this partnership, we are reconfirming our ongoing commitment to the medical imaging and radiology community of Oceania.”

The RANZCR 2021 ASM will be held from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 September 2021 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
