RANZCO offers scholarship for junior doctors and medical students

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO)'s New Zealand Branch is offering two scholarships for the country's junior doctors and medical students involved in eye health equity projects in Aotearoa to attend the RANZCO NZ Branch Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held 17-18 May at the Cordis Hotel, Auckland.
This scholarship covers registration, attendance and social activities during the meeting and reasonable travel expenses.

Two scholarships including complimentary registration to the NZ Branch Annual Scientific Meeting, access to social events, accommodation for two nights at a conference hotel and reasonable travel expenses.
Selection criteria
Applicants must:
- Present work they have done to improve eye health equity in Aotearoa New Zealand. This could be an equity-based research project or presentation of practical changes in ophthalmology management that help to reduce inequity. Recipients will be expected to present their work at the NZ RANZCO Branch Meeting.
- Submit a precis of their research project.
- Be either a medical student or a junior doctor.
There is no requirement to be working in ophthalmology to apply.
Applications will be assessed on merit but Māori and Pasifika applicants will be favoured.
