Pegasus Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Sinclair-Morris as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Kim currently holds the position of Kaiwhakahaere │ Executive Director of CCN, an organisation with a focus on partnership, collective improvement and integration across the Waitaha │ Canterbury health system, a role she has held for the past decade.

“Kim’s commitment to fostering collaboration within the health system and her proven track record make her the idea candidate to guide us through this period of health system change,” Pegasus Health chair Barry Bragg said.

After an extensive selection process, Kim emerged as the ideal candidate due to her experience in the health sector, exceptional leadership skills, and strong relationship-building capabilities, he said. “We are confident her experience will position Pegasus for a strong and sustainable future.”

“I feel privileged to lead Pegasus Health and to work alongside the Pegasus whа̄nau,” Kim said. “I look forward to leading the organisation through significant health system changes and ensuring Pegasus continues to contribute to the health and well-being of the people of Canterbury.”

Kim reflected on CCN’s progress and impact over the last decade, highlighting the efforts made to enhance health outcomes for individuals and their whа̄nau.

“I want to recognise the commitment of the CCN teams and partners to collectively making things better for our communities,” she said.

“I am confident Kim’s appointment will contribute to our commitment to improving health outcomes for people living in Canterbury,” Mr Bragg said.

Kim begins the new role on August 7.
