ASMS and Te Whatu Ora have undertaken two days of facilitated bargaining and this will continue into next week.
As facilitated bargaining continues and is making good progress ASMS has advised its members the strike notice for Monday 2 October has been lifted.
Te Whatu Ora is now working to reinstate as many surgeries and procedures as possible on Monday.
The parties have agreed they will not be making any further comment at this time.
