Ordering and inventory management of vaccine stock and consumables has just become easier for DHBs and vaccination sites, with the introduction of a new functionality in the COVID-19 Immunisation Register (CIR).
The new CIR Ordering & Inventory portal enables DHBs and vaccine sites to self-service – to order, track, and receipt their vaccine stock and consumables, and record vaccine consumption and waste.
The new portal is an important milestone for enabling the COVID-19 vaccine programme to scale safely and effectively as it will also give the Ministry, DHBs and vaccine sites a near-live view of vaccine stock on hand at a national, regional, and local level.
DHBs and vaccine sites can request access to the CIR Ordering & Inventory portal by contacting the Ministry of Health help@C-19imms.min.health.nz or 0800 223 987.
