VOX POP: Messages gleaned from minister

After health minister Andrew Little addressed the Rotorua GP CME conference, New Zealand Doctor Rata Aotearoa asked attendees for their take-home messages from his speech. While most expressed varying strains of cautious optimism, they were equally uneasy about what was left out. Some GPs noted the term “general practice” barely rated a mention, and nothing was said on how general practice, as the mainstay of primary care, would be supported
