While Te Whatu Ora was set up as the national organisation to lead and coordinate delivery of health services across the country, Te Aka Whai Ora is an independent statutory authority aimed at driving improvement in hauora Māori. Te Aka Whai Ora provided a list of people it says represent primary care within its organisation. Three of its chief officers have been appointed in the last couple of months. The list of people below is accurate as of the beginning of May.
