Matire Harwood (Ngāpuhi) is a GP based at Papakura Marae. She is also an associate professor in general practice and primary healthcare at the University of Auckland. Her PhD focused on post-stroke recovery and looked into courses of rehabilitation targeted at Māori and Pacific peoples
The best thing about my practice is being at Papakura Marae and having access to whānau services, tikanga support and kai at the clinic’s back door.
