Principals often have the right to sell their own practice, so the exit process should be spelled out in a formal, written practice agreement

One of the GP principals has decided it’s time to leave the practice to pursue a different career path. We are supportive of his choice, but would like to have a say in who buys into the group. What options do we have to approve the buyer of his practice and manage this process?
