August 2023 will go down in history as the month senior medical officers in Aotearoa voted to take nationwide strike action in support of improved pay and conditions for the first time ever, writes Sarah Dalton
The strike action decided last month by members of the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists is for improved pay and conditions.
