Covid-19 update: 5555 new cases, 20 deaths

Covid-19 cases have dropped slightly since last week as New Zealand comes out of the fifth wave of the virus.
There have been 5555 new cases of Covid-19 reported in New Zealand over the week to Sunday, and 20 further deaths attributed to the virus.
Of the new cases, 3555 were reinfections.
There were 222 cases in hospital, but none in intensive care.
The seven-day rolling average of new cases was 792 per day.
Last week, 5757 new cases of Covid-19 were reported and 258 people were in hospital with the virus.
