There have been 2343 new cases of Covid-19 reported in the past week, and 11 further deaths attributed to the virus.
Canterbury had the highest number of reported active cases with 399, followed by Capital and Coast with 217.
There were 159 cases in hospital as of midnight on Sunday, the Ministry of Health said.
Of the new cases, 1445 were reinfections.
The seven-day rolling average of new cases was 335.
Last week, the ministry reported 2383 new cases and 21 further deaths attributed to the virus.
