Careful action needed when ongoing sick leave becomes a headache for everyone

One of our employees has been on sick leave for several months, with no definitive prognosis and, therefore, no return-to-work date. While we have been happy to support them, I feel the time is approaching where we will need to decide on their ongoing employment.
