State of the art medical imaging technology coming to Hawke's Bay

TRG Imaging has always been a place of excellence and exceptional patient care, so we are excited to announce the introduction of the latest state-of-the-art MRI medical imaging equipment, soon to be available at our Hastings clinic, located next to Royston Hospital.

The new Siemens 3T MRI scanner will be open from 6 April 2021 and will include features that will make the experience of having an MRI much more comfortable for our patients, with faster scanning times, improved image quality and quite likely, a reduced need for medication for those who suffer from anxiety or claustrophobia. It is also energy efficient, so kinder to the environment.

This state-of-the-art equipment will be housed in an environment with local landscape imagery and illuminations that will take every patient on a journey of comfort and relaxation.

TRG Imaging will be able to perform new scanning services not currently available in Hawkes Bay, and with its commitment to supporting the entire community, will work closely with Hawkes Bay District Health Board to provide scans for their patients as well.

As TRG Imaging continues to push the boundaries of delivering the best patient experience, it has started upgrading its Hastings clinic, which will bring a new ‘look and feel’ to healthcare services, not seen before in the Bay.
